Page 3 is mostly taken up with the lengthy "Annual Report Of The Secretary Of War" which has much on the closing events of the Mexican War. Page 4 has nearly a column headed: "The Gold Mines of California--Railroad to the Pacific" and also much headed: "The California Gold Mania--Its Probable Effects" and page 5 has: "Assay of California Gold" with page 7 having: "Additional Intelligence form California--The Gold Mines, etc." which takes half the page.
Eight pages, very nice condition.
