The top of the front page has a notable article headed: "Senate Confirms Marshall As the First Negro Justice" with a subhead: "10 Southerners Oppose High Court Nominee in 69-11 Vote". The text continues on an inside page. Thurgood Marshall, the great-grandson of a slave, was the first African-American Justice on the Supreme Court (see hyperlink for more).
The complete issue  with 56 pages, some foxing & light dirtiness to the top half of the front page, never bound nor trimmed, otherwise in good condition.
