NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Jan. 14, 1858 Page 3 has: "The Army In Utah" which notes in part: "...the troops were all in winter quarters at Fort Bridger...Fort Bridger was being rebult,,,stated that the Mormons were making preparations to leave the Territory for the British Possessions & that pioneer parties had already started. Brigham Young's tone towards the officers of the expedition seems to have changed..." with more (see).
