WEEKLY MUSEUM, New York, July 5, 1800 Page 3 has an item: "Another Duel!" which notes: "We hear from Oxford, Mass., that 2 lieutenants of the army...had a meeting to settle an affair of honor; and we are concerned to state that one of the bloody combatants received a dangerous wound in the toe!" (see).
