SIGNAL CORPS NEWS BULLETIN - HQS. SIXTH ARMY GROUP, April 13, 1945
* Franklin D. Roosevelt death
* Rare military camp title
A quite rare military "camp" newspaper done in the filed and printed using a mimeograph machine and set by a typewriter. Circulation was quite small and of those printed exceedingly few survived.
This issue is significant in reporting the death of the President: "ROOSEVELT DIES" printed in large letters on the front page. And keep in mind that the President was the military's commander-in-chief, so a great newspaper for this report.
Complete in 4 pages on 2 sheets stapled at the upper left corner. Nice condition.
