March 10, 1773
THE PENNSYLVANIA GAZETTE, Philadelphia, March 10, 1773

* Benjamin Franklin's famous title
* Colonial era original

This newspaper had Ben Franklin's imprint at the bottom of page 4 from when he purchased the newspapers in 1729 until 1765. Most of the front page is taken up with a huge chart of numbers from the Pettie's Island lottery for the benefit of St. Paul's Church (see). Page 2 has a report from Charleston which begins: "Letters from London inform us that the new government about to be established to the westward is bounded as follows..." which gives the boundaries (see). Also on page 2 are reports from Williamsburg, Boston, and Philadelphia, the latter concerning two Acts.
Pages 3 & 4 are taken up with ads, the latter containing three runaway reward ads. Four pages, rejoined at the spine, minor repair to a blank margin of the back leaf, generally nice condition.
