July 01, 1858
PACIFIC CITY HERALD, Mills County, Iowa, July 1, 1858

* Very rare title
* Pre Civil war Midwest

This is the volume 1 number 2 issue. A very rare title which apparently lasted only from June, 1858 until early August, 1860. It picked up after the demise of the "Enterprise" which ended in June, 1858, the only other newspaper reported for this town. Gregory notes only one institution having issues of this title. The contents throughout is primarily from the Midwest. This is apparently an extremely small town. Mapquest shows only 5 streets and I can find no other information on the town or population.
Four pages, water stain at the bottom margin, mostly nice.
