July 22, 1873
THE SEMI-WEEKLY ARGUS, Port Townsend, Washington Territory, July 22, 1873 Quite early from Washington, and 16 years before it became a state. Half of the front page is taken up with ads including one for the "Seattle Brewery" (see photo), plus page two has "Mr. Garfield's Railroad Propositions" and other news items.
Four pages of small folio size measuring 9 by 12 3/4 inches, in very nice, clean condition. I believe this is the very last issue we have in our inventory.
