OAKLAND TRIBUNE - EXTRA, California, Aug. 10, 1945  The word "E X T R A" is in large, bold letters above the masthead. The huge, bold banner headline proclaims: "JAPAN QUITS" with various related subheads (see). This headline is 4 days prior to the official surrender report that would be found in all newspapers of the day.
Complete in 32 pages, minimal edge wear, nice condition.
