THE GLASGOW MERCURY, Scotland, April 27, 1780 Inside has a letter noting: "...fell in with the Diana schooner...bound under convoy with the grand expedition to Georgia...was taken by a rebel privateer belonging to Philadelphia..." with more. Another item begins: "From the length of time that has elapsed since we had any news from America, the public are very allowably impatient for advices from Sir Henry Clinton..." (see).
