THE GLASGOW MERCURY, Scotland, March 2, 1780 Most of the issue has reports from England, particularly events in Parliament, but other news from Europe as well. An inside page has an item from the "House of Commons: "...a bill to repeal certain laws passed at the beginning of the American war, & to allow liberty of a free trade to such parts of America as are or may hereafter be in possession of his Majesty."
