January 10, 1804
NEW-YORK EVENING POST, January 10, 1804 Page two contains a letter from "The Balance" to "The Public" signed by Harry Croswell.  See images for text.  Additional news of the day and period advertising are present as well.  Note:  Croswell was a pro-Federalist newspaper editor, convicted of libel against President Thomas Jefferson in a landmark case in New York.

Complete in 4 pages, average foxing, and a slightly rough left spine - otherwise good (see images).
