THE LONDON GAZETTE, November 2, 1745  An inside page has the report, "Whereas a most wicked and unnatural Rebellion is raised in Scotland, in order to place a popish Pretender on  the Throne of these Kingdoms...".  Not less than 4 times "The Pretender" is referred to within separate addresses.  Considerable details of the events leading up to the Battle of Carlisle are included within this issue.  Great to have such content related to the Jacobite Rebellion, and Bonnie Prince Charlie.  The images provide only a snapshot of the content present.
This is a complete issue in 12 pages, measuring approximately 7 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches.  Scattered word underlining is found throughout the issue; otherwise in very good condition. This issue also contains three partial red ink-stamps.
