THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, May 23, 1775 The entire ftpg. is taken up with with observations on a pamphlet titled: "The Address of the People of Great Britain to the Inhabitants of America", with the text beginning: "We wish we could forget, as easily as we forgive, the two modes by which your congress proposes to disappoint the wishes of Britain for the good of America; the one threatens war, the other a suspension of trade..." with so much more. This has to be one of the best front page accounts reporting the thoughts of the grievances of both England & America, and the differences which would lead to the Revolutionary War (see photos for full text).
The balance of the issue contains other news of the day with many ads as well. All 8 pgs., measures 8 1/2 by 11 1/4 in., very nice condition.
