* Great Italy drops out of World War II issue for display
See the photos for one of the more displayable front pages to be had from World War II. The three line banner headline proclaims:
* ITALY SURRENDERS; ALL HOSTILITIES ARE ENDED NAZIS ADMIT LOSS OF STALINO
with various subheads including "Hitler European Fortress "Cracked" and more. But certainly the prime feature is the huge & bold "V" which takes much of the front page, and beneath it & also in blue ink: "Bonds For Victory".
Presumable complete with 8 pages as I so no reference to pages beyond 8. A small piece from near the bottom of the spine margin otherwise in uncommonly nice, clean condition.
