A large collection of issues reporting the events of America during this time of growth & expansion, with a wide range of content including Indian troubles, political news, crime, and whatever else was happening at the time. A great wealth of illustrated ads as well. Period bindings, spine gone & old boards are loose, interior pages are lightly browned by not pulpish, with some chipping at the edges &  tears as well.
