* The Siege of Sebastopol
with a portion including: "On the 25th of October General Liprandi attacked the allied camp at Balaklava, stormed four redoubts and took 11 guns. The English cavalry was totally beaten and lost 500 men." (see photos).
This battle was the famous charge of the Light Brigade, made famous by the poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson.
Complete in 12 pgs., tears & some chipping at the top margin, otherwise nice. Great to have this report in this famous London newspaper.
