* Z R-2 Dirigible Disaster
The front page of this issue features an article spanning two columns entitled: "Great Public Funeral Will Be Held For Victims of Z R-2 Disaster", reading in part:
"The American and British victims of the disaster of the Z R-2 at Hull last evening will be accorded a great public funeral, probably in London, it is considered certain. The air ministry today had the project under advisement and an announcement regarding it was expected at any time. Meanwhile, all England profoundly stirred by the destruction of the giant dirigible, the greatest of all air disasters is giving expression to its deep feeling of mourning for the victims and sympathy for those bereaved..."
This issue is complete in 8 pages, and in good condition - although some minor edge tears can be found on the front page (see images). A piece measuring approximately 1x1/2 inches is missing from the outer margin of each page. The issue is also fragile - common for the period - but must be handles carefully.
