February 26, 1791
DUNLAP'S AMERICAN DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, Feb. 26, 1791 Page 2 has: An act to incorporate the subscribers to the Bank of the United States. Quite lengthy, the act concludes on pg. 3 where it is signed in type: John Adams & George Washington. Great to have this historic act which chartered the Bank of the United States in a newspaper from Philadelphia which was the seat of government at the time.
Among the many front page ads is one for: "ISAAC FRANKS, Stock and Exchange Broker...Buys and Sells on Commission..." with further details noted in the ad. Franks was a prominent Jewish financier (see).
Very nice, clean condition.
