The newspaper is an authentic CW Era issue from this famous title.  The issue includes front page CW coverage, inside war coverage, and news of the day.  Without a doubt, NY Times CW issues are the most collected CW era issues to-date.  They are commonly sought after by civil war re-enact ors since they hold up well to use as a result of the high cotton content used (rag paper) when originally printed.   A great CW era item - very collectible!  Complete in 8 pages - approximately 16 by 22 inches.  A highly collectible newspaper.
