CALEDONIAN MERCURY, Edinburgh, Scotland, Oct. 23, 1746  A page 3 has an item: "...we learn, that a Ship belonging to Boston in New England, Capt. Emmet was cast away in the Bay of Soul, being her first voyage, bound for Holland...eight of the Men were saved, the Captain and Mate perished."
