* Chinese language characters
A single sheet "Supplement" issue of this famous newspaper by Horace Greeley with almost the entirety of both sides taken up with an article titled: "Discoveries In Chinese" which curiously includes a very large number of Chinese characters, rarely seen as such in an American newspaper (see photos). This single sheet issue is folio size and in very nice condition.
