A small size newspaper from the famous Oneida Community in New York, an early "commune" in experimental living. Various religiously-themed content but a bit of reporting of news of the day as well. An interesting title from this interesting community in in upstate New York. 8 pages in nice condition.

This issue contains an article titled: "THE END OF THE WAR" which tells of Ulysses S. Grant's victories at Petersburg and Richmond Virginia which leads to the surrender of Robert E. Lee.
