WEEKLY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Feb. 9, 1850 The front page has an article: "The President's Message in Relation to California" and an editorial note also on the ftpg: "The California Message" which begins: "No message since the celebrated Proclamation of General Jackson against Nullification has excited any thing like such a sensation of joy in all patriotic bosoms as the late message of President Taylor...". Also ftpg: "The Florida Indians".
