SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, N.Y., Sept. 9, 1911 Full front page photo: "Atwood in the Aeroplane in which he flew from St. Louis to Chicago and afterward from Chicago to New York". Full page report inside with two photos: "Atwood and His St. Louis-New York Flight". This is the final issue for this date in our inventory. The first image shows the rough left spine, but this does not impact the text or image. The front page could be framed with the irregualr spine matted out.
