THE PENNSYLVANIA EVENING POST, Philadelphia, Feb. 18, 1775 Dated exactly 2 months before the battle of Lexington & Concord and an early issue of this newspaper, being volume one, issue 12.
The back page has an interesting letter concerning relations with England, which mentions in part: "...we can assure you, from the knowledge we have of the sentiments of the inhabitants, that they have not in the least changed their opinions with respect to the important subject of (the) dispute between the Mother Country and the British Colonies in America & are as well disposed to make a virtuous stand against tyranny and oppression..." with more.
There is a response signed in type: Committee of Correspondence.
Very nice condition with just one minor margin tear Complete in 4 pages, measures about 8 by 10 inches.
