MIDWAY MIRROR, U.S. Naval Operating Base, Midway Islands, June 6, 1944 Not only is this a nice, displayable issue on D-Day but it is in a military newspaper!
The nice banner headline reads "FRANCE INVADED" plus there are subheads which include: "Invasion Highlights", "Progress of Battle Yet Undetermined", and "Allies Meet Little Enemy Opposition".
The issue has a small piece missing from the lower right corner (see photos) affecting 3 words, otherwise is in nice condition.
