THE MERCURY AND NEW-ENGLAND PALLADIUM, Boston, Aug. 17, 1802 Interesting report on pg. 2 under "Dr. Guillotin" stating: "The celebrated Dr. Guillotin the inventor of the terrible instrument that bore his name, is said to been one of the first victims of his own contrivance. This is not true; the Doctor, who is a man of very mild and pleasant manners resides...in...Paris, and enjoys a...considerable practice and reputation as a Physician." A few stray notations in the lower margin of the ftpg., occasional foxing.
