December 12, 1876
THE CLEVELAND LEADER, Ohio, Dec. 12, 1876  Page 7 has: "The National League" "Address of the National League of Professional Base Ball Clubs to the Public--What The Organization Proposes."
This is a nice, comprehensive report about the first winter meeting of the National League following its inaugural season. Key topics were fair play, maintaining integrity, & gambling problems. An important date in baseball history.
Nice to have in a paper from the city where the meeting was held. Light foxing at the edges. This is the complete newspaper.
