SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ARGUS, Merced, California, 1877 A four page newspaper with various news of the day and a wealth of ads. I don't find many newspapers from Merced, and I only have a few of this title. Inked stamp in the masthead done by the news agent who originally sold this newspaper. Never bound nor trimmed, some tears and roughness at margins and light browning.
