The governor, among others, was murdered. Also: "The March of the Mormon Battalion" which reports on the Mormons on their way to California. It begins: "We are now about 350 miles from Santa Fe, on our way to California...We find water scarce, and prospects still worse ahead..." with much more. Four pages, very nice condition.
