The issue is a "vol. III" issue as this publication was preceded by one titled "Jesuit, or Catholic Sentinel" and they kept the same volume numbering. It was also curiously superseded by the same title as well. News is almost entirely from England, however the back page has a report beginning "A Capuchin, called by the name of Marcus de Aviano, an Italian, who pretends to perform miraculous things; especially the cure of deafness, blindness, lameness, dumness, etc..." with more on him. In 2003 he was beatified by Pope John Paul II. Complete as a single sheet issue, wide, never-trimmed margins, 8 by 11 3/4 inches, nice condition.
