The top of page 29 has a one column heading: "I. G. THALBERG DIES; FILM PRODUCER, 37" with subheads and photo. (see) First report coverage on the death of Irving Thalberg, Hollywood film producer. I suspect this is one of the few publications to report this particular event as other titles in our inventory do not.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete with all 60 pages, light toning at the margins, nice condition.

wikipedia notes: Irving Grant Thalberg was an American film producer during the early years of motion pictures. He was called "The Boy Wonder" for his youth and ability to select scripts, choose actors, gather production staff, and make profitable films, including Grand Hotel, China Seas, Camille, Mutiny on the Bounty, and The Good Earth. His films carved out an international market, "projecting a seductive image of American life brimming with vitality and rooted in democracy and personal freedom," states biographer Roland Flamini.
