SOUTHERN GALAXY, Natchez, Mississippi, Nov. 20, 1828 A quite rare title, being the volume 1 number 26 issue of a title which lasted just two years. The earliest Natchez paper we have offered.
The back page has: "Mr. Jefferson & Mr.Adams" which includes a letter signed by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello, Dec. 25, 1825 in which he complains of his infirmities, particularly his memory.
Four pages, minor loss to a blank lower corner, nice condition.
