NEW YORK DAILY TRIBUNE, Feb. 28, 1862

* Battle Hymn of the Republic
* Abolitionist Julia ward Howe music & lyrics
* "John Brown's Body" song

The back page contains the music & lyrics of: "A Song That Is Now Rather Popular" as it is headed, being the music of what we now know as the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" with the lyrics being the original: "John Brown's body lies a mould'ring in the grave..." and with the more famous chorus: "Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!...". Julia Ward Howe wrote her own words to this tune which have remained popular to this day, and were first published in "Atlantic Monthly" magazine in the February, 1862 issue.
Actually this song has an interesting history in how it inspired Julia Ward Howe. I would encourage you to visit: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/brown/sfeature/song.html to learn of the story.
Various Civil War reports on the interior pages, minor margin wear, generally in very nice condition
