THE DETROIT NEWS, June 5, 1956

  • Browder v. Gayle district ruling
  • Montgomery, Alabama bus segregation
  • Unconstitutional re. Fourteenth Amendment

The front page has a brief report with a one column heading: "Segregation Out on Buses" (see) First report coverage on the district court ruling that bus segregation was unconstitutional under the Fourteenth Amendment protections for equal treatment. This is a same day report, probably the reason for the small article here.
Complete with 52 pages, small binding holes along the spine, library stamp near the top of the front page, otherwise nice.
