Less than 13 months after Charles Lindbergh's heralded accomplishment, Amelia Earhart became the first woman to achieve the feat. The front page has a one column heading: "FRIENDSHIP IS ALL SET TO CROSS ATLANTIC" with subheads. (see) Coverage continues on page 10 with pictorial. Weather would delay her from finishing the journey for about 2 weeks.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 24 pages, a few binding slits along spine, a little margin wear, generally good.
