The top of page 4 has the most significant content with the famous letter from Abraham Lincoln to Lydia Bixby, who recently lost here 6th son in the Civil War (see). This is considered by many to be one of the finest works of writing by Lincoln, along with his Gettysburg Address (see hyperlink for more).
The front page has: "OUR PRISONERS" "Their Release Fro Captivity" "Thrilling Account of Their Sufferings" "Horrible Barbarities of The Rebels" "The Terrible Camp at Andersonville" with more (see).
The back page has: "Sherman's March" "Capture of Macon & Milledgeville" with more on Sherman, plus: "The Rebel Plot" "Attempt To Burn the City" of New York.
Eight pages, Piece torn along the upper right margin on the first 2 leafs with a little unrelated text loss, minor light foxing, otherwsie nice.
