The front page has one of the more dramatic announcements of the end of World War II with a very large, bold banner headline dropped out of a black box: "WAR OVER ! " with a lead-in printed in red ink: "Truman Announces: ". The subhead: "M'Arthur Named to Accept Surrender" with various other reports concerning the surrender of Japan to U.S. forces. A terrific issue for display.
Presumed complete in 20 pages, nice condition.
