Continuing from the previous issue, this report begins: "Notwithstanding general Gate's behaviour at the time of Burgoyne's army being made prisoners, these brave but unfortunate men were soon made too sensible of  their situation...".
The report continues on with considerable detail with the recent events of the war. A few bits include: "...Some successful predatory expeditions into the Jersies & on the Delaware with the surprize of a party of the enemy...on the Pennsylvania side, by leit. colonel Abercrombie...loss of the American in these expeditions & in some others which were undertaken from Rhode Island...was exceedingly great...neither the Congress nor general Washington omitted any means or preparation for a vigorous campaign...after Simeon Deane arrived express from Paris at York Town [York, Penna.] where the Congress had sat since the loss of Philadelphia...seemed to stamp a seal upon the separation of America from England..." and much, much more. Photos show only portions.
The plates called for are lacking.
Complete in 56 pages, 5 by 8 1/2 inches, full title/contents page, masking tape at the spine, very nice, clean condition.
