THE WORLD, New York, July 10, 1876 The back page has a column headed: "Custer Reminiscences" "What Three Old Comrades of the Dead General Have to Tell About Him" being a great & detailed article on his character & military prowess, taking 1 1/2 columns. He was just killed in the Battle of Little Big Horn in late June.
This is followed by: "The Sioux Described by a Man Who Lived With Them Five Years".
Eight pages, minor loss to an upper blank corner, nice condition.
