Page 2 contains an address to the President from the Senate for actions concerning the troubling relationship with France, with the President's "Reply" signed in type: John Adams. Also a letter to the Prescient concerning the General Bankruptcy Bill, with his reply signed: John Adams.
Page 3 has a brief item: "Lieutenant General WASHINGTON has left Philadelphia for Mount Vernon. The arrangement of the permanent army is agreed on." Also: "Wooden Walls" mentions: "...now in the West Indies, three United States armed vessels...The United States, of 44 [guns] and the Constitution of 44, are said to be destined on the same service..." with more.
Four pages, never trimmed margins, nice condition.
