A fantastic issue for display as the front page has a very dramatic announcement of the bombing of Pearl Harbor with: "WAR ! " in 7 3/4 inch bold letters, with: "JAPAN DECLARES WAR ON UNITED STATES, BRITAIN" and subheads. There are related reports on the following pages.
This is one of the most dramatic issues we have seen for this infamous event. And nice to have in a West Coast newspaper.
Complete with all 10 pages as noted in the dateline, minimal wear along the central fold with a few tiny archival mends on page 2. Generally quite nice.
