The front page is dominated by a very large & detailed map headed: "THE JAMES RIVER MOVEMENT. Scene of Operations by Gen. Butler's Force--Petersburg, Richmond, and the Railroads". Plus over half of the first column is taken up with Civil War heads, beginning: "Struggle For Richmond" "Gen. Grant Driving Lee Back" "Rebel Dash Foiled At Last" and much more. War reports inside as well.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, a crease across the center, scattered foxing.
