THE LONDON GAZETTE, April 4, 1670 At the top of the front page is a report noting that: "On Tuesday came in a vessel of Topham from Mary-land, laden with Tobacco...". The back page has an item: "...from Barbados...assure us of the peaceable & thriving condition of that place, & consequently of the falsity of the report...of the insurrection of the slaves."
Single sheet, 6 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches, great condition.
