HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, Jan. 5, 1861  The full front page is drawn by Winslow Homer & has: 'The Georgia Delegation in Congress' showing 10 men. Also done by Winslow Homer is the doublepage centerfold: "Seeing the Old Year Out".
Also in this issue is: "New Year's Eve in the Country" plus there is a serialized portion of "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens.   In addition, the second installment of  "Dickens's Christmas Story - A MESSAGE FROM THE SEA" is also present, taking nearly 7 pages.
The back page has 3 cartoons. Humors of the day includes:  "Why is the present Lord Mayor of London smaller than Tom Thumb?—Because he is only one Cubit (18 inches), whereas Tom Thumb was 25 inches."
Complete in 16 pages.
