October 01, 1776

THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Oct. 1, 1776

* Recruiting Americans for British allegiance
* General William Howe (great year to have)

The entire front page and half of page 2 are taken up with several letters & documents, most signed in type by Lord Viscount Howe, concerning offering pardon to those Americans who would swear their allegiance to the King of England. Interesting content.
Four pages, 7 3/4 by 12 inches, nice condition.
