DAILY RICHMOND EXAMINER, Virginia, Feb. 11, 1863  A nice newspaper from the capital of the Confederacy, with much front page reporting on the Civil War. Articles include: "From Frederickburg "City Intelligence" and many smaller heads including: "Narrow Escape Of President Davis" "The Latest From Charleston" "From Vicksburg" "The Repulse at Fort Donelson" "The Fall of Boileau" "Speech of McClellan" "The Radicals & the War" "Yankee With on the War" "What the Yankees Got by the capture of Arkansas Post" and more.
Also on the ftpg. is: "An Order From General Banks in Regard to Slave Labor in Louisiana" signed by him in type.
The back page has much reporting from: "The Confederate Congress" and the: "Virginia Legislature", plus there is: "Attack Apprehended At Savannah" and several ads.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper with a banner masthead, never bound nor trimmed and in very nice, clean condition.
