LEOMINSTER DAILY ENTERPRISE, Massachusetts, Oct. 24, 1929

* Stock Market Crash of 1929

One of the front page two-column headlines announces the infamous stock market crash with: "Pandemonium Breaks Loose As Market Breaks Wide Open" and a subhead: "Speculators Dump Securities Onto Market, Selling at Almost Any Figure". Great wording, as more typically headlines which much more cautious.
Quick to jump on the "tragedy bandwagon", a front page advertisement by a bank is headed: "Why Worry?" beginning: "The recent 'break in the Stock Market has taken millions of dollars...Can you afford to take a chance with your life's savings on an investment that is not sure?...".
Complete in 12 pages, minor spine wear, nice condition.
