July 27, 1839

PENSACOLA GAZETTE, Florida, July 27, 1839

* Rare antebellum title
* Escambia County

A very nice & early newspaper from this Florida town, very rarely found from before the Civil War. This is a four page newspaper with various news of the day and a wealth of ads as well. Inside are: "How to Tell a Drunken Man" "Another Indian Massacre" "Late From Texas" "Naval" and much more.
Four pages, rejoined at the spine, some older tape mends which do not deter readability, otherwise nice condition.
